A Fine Viennese Renaissance Revival Silver-Gilt, Enamel and Semi-Precious Stone-Mounted Rock Crystal Cornucopia. By Hermann Bohm, Last Quarter 19th Century. The rock-crystal deeply carved throughout with running stag, hunting hounds, mythical birds and scrolling foliage, the domed cover surmounted by a hunter and three hounds and with rim applied with masks and scrolling foliage, the horn-shaped vessel mounted with four similarly applied jewel-studded collars, the upper three each with a hunting scene to front and back, the fourth with a stag and fox, terminating in a bear’s head and forequarters, supported on the back and antlers of a running stag, above an oval spreading foot, the rim applied with further hunting vignettes, variously stamped HB and with Austrian hallmarks.
