Louis XVI Style Gilt-Metal Mounted Marble and Alabaster Tall Case Clock Late 19th Century. The rectangular hood enclosing a circular dial and black Roman numerals above a flattened columnar case with canted corners, alternating between mottled mauve and ivory colored marble panels and larger raspberry and apricot veined white alabaster panels decorated with acanthus leaves, stylized shells, bellflowers and elliptical rosettes, ending in a conforming stepped base.
