Fine Louis XV/XVI Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Mahogany, Tulipwood and Kingwood Commode, Late 19th Century, by Gouverneur. The stepped rectangular violette marble top above two long drawers veneered sans traverse with latticework parquetry panels and fitted with elaborately cast gilt-bronze floral garlands, the hipped legs headed by lion¡s pelts ending in massive paw feet, the apron fitted with foliate scrolls centering a mask.
