A pair of Continental (L&M) painted biscuit figures of a Indian Maidens, 19th Century, impressed L&M mark to the second. Both wearing feathered headdresses and exotic dress and stranding beside a stream, one draped in a lion skin, leaning on a tree-stump and holding a bird, the other draped in a striped blanket and holding a knife, her right foot on a dead cheetah.
