An Austrian Parcel-Gilt and Polychrome-Decorated Longcase Organ Clock, Vienna, Circa 1890. Surmounted by Apollo plucking a lyre, the projecting corners mounted with music-making youthful satyrs to the front and lidded urns to the rear, with enamel dial and twin-train movement, the rectangular case with paneled sides, the front applied to the central section with urns issuing foliage and with a pair of birds, and to the lower section with three putti and a ram, the angles each mounted with a fluted boss above an angel with acanthus tail and terminating in a lion-paw foot, on rectangular base with projecting corners.
